Petroleum distribution looks like a physical business — tanks, trucks and pumps. But behind every delivery sits a trail of information: a quotation, a credit check, a loading ticket, seal numbers, a driver and truck, a delivery note, an invoice and a payment. When that trail lives in notebooks, WhatsApp chats and spreadsheets, mistakes and losses are hard to see.

The problems software solves

  • Customers want quotes and order status without phoning around.
  • Stock that has been promised to one customer must not be sold to another.
  • Trucks with expired documents must not be dispatched.
  • Loaded and delivered quantities must be compared, load by load.
  • Bank transfers must be matched to the right invoices.

What Enychem is building

Enychem is developing a digital supply platform in-house: online supply requests and quotations first, then order tracking, loading and delivery records, and invoicing. It is being built in stages, with security — access control, audit trails and data protection — designed in from the start rather than added later.

Why build rather than buy

Generic software rarely fits how fuel moves in Nigeria: mixed own and hired fleets, third-party depots, cash-before-load alongside credit accounts, and quantities that must be temperature-corrected. Building in-house lets the platform follow the business rather than the other way round.

We are hiring engineers to help build it. See our careers page for open roles.
